Branson, Missouri, sits in the southwest region of Missouri, with a country-western atmosphere. This popular vacation spot offers an array of attractions which are unmatched by other cities in the mid-west. Branson features a multitude of theme parks with thrill rides, live entertainment, dinner theatres, shops, restaurants, casinos, parks and much more.

Silver Dollar City

Silver Dollar City, sits in the center of town, and is considered to be one of the major Branson, Missouri attractions. This popular theme park features more than 30 thrill rides which include exciting adrenaline stimulating rides such as the Giant Swing, a pair of enormous pendulums which swing through the doors of a barn while moving at an incredible 45 miles per hour. Another thrilling ride includes the 65 mile per hour roller coaster that is known as the Wildfire. This thrilling ride loops upside down, around and over. Thunderation is another roller coaster ride which rises to 80 feet above the ground, while offering a breathtaking view of the Ozark Mountains which surround it. Seasonal shows are performed before a live audience, while skilled craftsmen demonstrate an array of arts and crafts as visitors wonder throughout the park. Multiple places for food and snacks are available throughout the park as well.

Titanic Museum

The Titanic Museum, known to be the worlds largest attraction museum, is located in the heart of town, amongst the best of the Branson attractions. Within the museum is a list that honors each of the passengers who lost their lives during this fateful excursion. Visitors are offered a guided tour through this two story Titanic shaped building which serves as the museum, featuring highlights of all the details of this tragic cruise. Within the building there are 20 separate galleries that offer actual artifacts taken from the ship. It includes duplications of the interior of the ship such as the grand staircase, a model of the Titanic ship, the bridge of the ship and much more.

Bonniebrook Historical Society

Sitting a few miles out of town is the Bonniebrook Historical Society, one of the most interesting of the Branson attractions. Built in 1893, this original homestead site is the place where Rose lived while she created paintings and writings in her home studio. This site offers a museum and a research library that is open to the public, for those who are curious about the life and works that still are located here.
