Once You Enter the Town, You Will See Mile Upon Mile of Attractions and Activities for Your Family to Enjoy!

Wisconsin Dells is known as the Waterpark Capitol of the World, but did you know that there are many other attractions in this Midwest town? There are so many things to see and do that you will never feel you've seen it all. A vacation to Wisconsin Dells can be repeated year after year with new things to visit and explore with each changing season and every passing year. Once you enter the town, you will see mile upon mile of attractions and activities for your family to enjoy! I'll cover some of the most commonly visited attractions in Wisconsin Dells that your whole family will enjoy!

The Wisconsin River winds along the town and there are exceptional boat tours available. You can choose the Upper Dells tour, or the Lower Dells tour. You can even choose to take both tours for the entire River tour. The Upper Dells river tour lasts about 2 hours and will bring you along some beautiful scenery with rest stops along the way on two shores. Caves, rock cliffs and wildlife are all viewed along this exciting tour. The Lower Dells boat tour is about one hour long and is a relaxing cruise down the river. They even have a dinner cruise in the evening featuring Dan Soma's live music show. The Dells Boat Tours are something every family should participate in!

Also along the river you will find the legendary Dells Army Duck Tours. These tours feature many sightseeing spectaculars and are taken aboard a famous Duck boat. These Duck boats can go on both land and water for a unique experience. You will be taken on a one hour tour complete with guide along the Lower Dells Glacier Park.

Of course, you will have to visit a water park while you visiting Wisconsin Dells. Noah's Ark is located in the center of all the attractions and boasts the record of America's Largest Waterpark. There are so many water rides and activities that a day can be spent without lost of interest. Two giant wave pools serve as rest pits with ample deck chairs for sun-tanning and relaxing. There are even bumper boats and a miniature golf course for non-water lovers. Many splash playgrounds are located throughout the park with lots of activities for little ones. Two winding tubing rivers complete the ultimate water park experience!

Wisconsin Dells is also a golfer's paradise. There are several unique golf courses to choose from. Cold Water Canyon golf course feature 18 holes displaying beautiful canyon themes. Trappers Turn Golf club is also an exciting, fun-filled golf course located in Wisconsin Dells. The golf course features a Scottish theme with 27 holes of golf to enjoy! Wild Rock Golf Club is a brand new golf course scheduled to open in fall of 2007. This course was designed by Hurdzan Fry and is a challenge to enjoy. The course has 5 tee positions to help suite the desires of all ranges of golfers.

There are also several museums located throughout Wisconsin Dells. A favorite of many tourists is the Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum. This museum is full of the extraordinary and strange happenings around the world. Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum is located in downtown Wisconsin Dells. The Tommy Bartlett Exploratory is another family favorite place to go in the Dells. Robotics, puzzles, and scientific wonders all make this attraction a great place to take the kids. There is also a space display that features Sputnik and the Russian Space Station. Circus World Museum is a year round museum that has many exciting displays. You can see how the circus comes to life and learn how to become a circus star!

If you love boating and skiing the Tommy Bartlett Water Ski show is something you should see while visiting Wisconsin Dells. This show is simply amazing and so entertaining. Jugglers browse through the crowds entertaining the guests while stunts are performed by the water skiers. The show features a 9 year old boy who joins in all the stunts.

There are also several theatres with live shows playing every night. From 4-D theatres to music and talent theatres, you can find almost any style show to meet your desires. A traditional movie theatre is also located downtown. The Fab 50's Live theatre features a live rock 'n roll oldies show!

Go-Karts can also be found scattered throughout Wisconsin Dells. ADare Go Carts feature the area's fastest track and even have a kiddie go cart track. The Dells Raceway Park has a race every Saturday night. Extreme World also features Go-Karts and thrill rides. Extreme World is home to the famous Castle of Terror. There is also a paintball course located in Extreme World.
