From not even being on the chart at all, this beautiful Biblical baby name has grown to popularity since the 1950's. A Hebrew name meaning a source of joy. She was Nabal's wife in the Book of Samuel.
#2 Ash-ley
Believe it or not this Biblical name can be used for both a girl or boy. With the origin of Hebrew and also England, this happens to be a very popular name. For girls, it has climbed at a steady pace since the 1960's. It was popular for boys in the 1980's, it has since dropped out of the chart completely. This name means from the ash tree.
#3 E-liz-a-beth
Such a fairly common name yet beautiful Biblical baby girl name all at the same time. You can make a few short names from this name, such as Beth or Liz. Elizabeth means consecrated to God. Elizabeth was the mother to John the Baptist. John actually knew the Messiah was going to be born when Mary (the mother of Jesus) and Elizabeth were talking to one another. He responded by "leaping in her womb". She, too was blessed to give birth at her age and to a great man of God, who had one purpose and that was to baptise unto repentance. He even baptised Jesus, because He was a perfect example for us.
#4 Han-nah
Here is another popular name that has a beautiful ring to it! It took a sudden nosedive in the 1960's and climbed back into popularity back in the 1970's. Hannah means grace of God. She was one of the wives of Elkanah. Consider this name for one of your choices in Biblical baby girl names.
#5 Is-a-bel-la
This is another name that has took a leap since the 1990's. It's origins stem from Italy and Spain as well as Hebrew. It means consecrated to God.
#6 Mar-y
Mary was the chosen vessel for carrying Jesus Christ. She became a saint of God when she recieved the baptism of the Holy Ghost on the Day of Pentecost, Acts 2. She is indeed blessed of women. However, her name has a rather unusual meaning. Mary means bitter. Another Mary of the Bible was a Gentile woman who sought the mercy of Jesus and recieved it. She was a faithful and loving servant of Jesus. This Biblical name was popular all the way through the 1970's and then took a dive after that.
#7 O-liv-i-a
We have mixed feelings on this one, but since the little princess chose this set of names, we included this one as well. It is of Spanish and Italian origin. The popularity of it has had it's ups and downs, however it has kept a steady pace of great popularity since the 1980's. It means peace of the olive trees.
#8 Reb-ec-ca
As the popularity is declining in this Biblical name, you may consider naming your baby girl Rebecca. This name means servant of God. It's descent is strictly Hebrew.
#9 Sam-an-tha
We never knew that this was a Biblical baby girl name until now. This Hebrew name means listener of God. It quickly gained popularity in about 1965 and has been popular ever since then.
#10 Sa-ra
Here is another fairly popular name that has a few ways to spell, such as Sarah. It is considered to be Spanish and Hebrew in origin. This name means Princess. It shot up in popularity between 1965 and 1975. It is now slowly declining in popularity, again.
Well there it is and we did happen to change one name (shh don't tell my little girl). Now there are more Biblical baby girl names that you can add to your list.

I love some of these names. Weird fact: I've been known to turn around in response to some one calling the name Elizabeth. Makes me wonder if it was my name in a former life or something.
