The best burger in Brooklyn is here to rock your world

Shhhhh. Don't tell anyone, but I think I may have stumbled upon the best burger in Brooklyn, although any foodie will probably tell you that this isn't news and that I'm way behind the times.

Well, I'll be honest: It's the best burger in Brooklyn because it's the best burger I've ever designed in Brooklyn.

That's part of the allure of 67 Burger at 67 Lafayette at Fulton Street. Their menu is chock full of every burger type, cheese, topping and fixin' so there is really no right or wrong way to order your burger.

I don't want to brag, but I really feel like my concoction was the best thing they have ever made. Although I am pretty sure everyone else in there that day will tell you the same thing.

I started with their basic 7 oz. of 100% beef, that they grind fresh daily. I didn't go for any of their specialty burgers like the Cajun, cheese lovers or ranch, although by the drool on my chin you could probably tell I was a little more than tempted.

Instead I added pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, sautéed onions, sautéed mushrooms, crispy onions, and avocado. AND BACON. Needless to say it was a mess. But it was my mess. And OH. SO. FREAKING. GOOD.

Thanks to 67 Burger I can now (in my dreams) call myself the world's best burger creator.

Next time I head back there I hope to improve on my initial masterpiece. I know my taste buds won't be disappointed.
