Noccalula Falls

Noccalula Falls is a campground located 60 miles from Birmingham. Tent sites are available with electric and water hook-ups. RV hook-up sites are also available. If you do not like camping outdoors, Noccalula Falls has cabin rentals. Within a few miles from the campgrounds is the Coosa River where you can fish. Other attractions include the Noccalula Falls Nature Park and Noccalula Falls Miniature Golf Course. The Nature Park has a park train, pioneer village, animal habitat and much more. Noccalula Falls has something that all family members can enjoy.

The tent site rate is $16 per night. A discount is awarded the more nights you stay. The RV hook-up sites are $21 a night and the same discount is available. If you are interested in staying in a cabin, the rental fee is $110 a night during off season and $130 a night during peak season.

Talladega Taz Campground

Talladega Taz Campground is located 50 miles from Birmingham. This campground is perfect for Nascar fans. The Talladega Superspeedway and Talladega Short Track are both located less than a mile from the park. A shuttle service is available to and from the speedway. RV sites are also available with full hook-up.

During the Talladega race week the rate is $150/week for tent camping. If you are interested in taking you RV, the rate is from $300 - $800/week depending on your RV size. Monthly site rental is available, call for more information.

Oak Mountain State Park is located 13 miles from Birmingham. This park has so much to offer and is fun for the whole family. Within the park are beaches, golf course, boat rentals, fishing, horseback riding facilities and plenty of trails for hiking. Tent sites, RV sites with full hook-up and cabin rentals are available.

Tent sites are $18/night and RV sites with full hook-up are $23/night. The park offers a 15% discount to seniors excluding holidays and weekends. Cabin rentals on the weekend require a two night minimum for $220. Sunday through Thursday has special pricing of $110 for one night, $200 for two nights and $$660 for six nights.

Riverside Country Campground is located 60 miles from Birmingham. Located within minutes from the park is Paradise Lanes Bowling Center, Talladega Superspeedway, several golf courses including Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, a Natural History and Barman museums and much more. The campground has a main pool with kiddie pool, lighted riverwalk, boat launch and trolley. All camping types are accepted, from pop-up to fifth wheel.
