I bought the car in 1984 for $1400 and drove it until 1998 when I had to junk it. The car was already eight years old when I bought it and I drove it for another fifteen years. The Nova rarely broke down and needed repair, and it was very economical with gas. Replacement parts were also fairly inexpensive,

The car was easy to handle and rode smoothly. It was a simple car with a three speed automatic transmission, and a straight six-cylinder 250 cu in engine. The car was easy to drive as I just shifted into drive on the automatic transmission and away I went.
