Who could possibly forget? The Toyota Highlander with a factory CD player that produces plenty of sound to drown out your rendition of John Denver's classic: "Take Me Home." Driver's side lumbar makes this a comfortable car when the ride becomes long. Let us not forget the luggage rack, fold down second and third row seats and full size spare with easy access.

Can't decide? What if we told you that vehicle A only made it 350 miles and the rear suspension collapsed under the load, causing the right rear tire to burn up? Road trip over.

For the money, safety, comfort, horsepower, satisfying fuel mileage, cargo space, roof racks, and hefty smooth suspension, the Toyota Highlander gets the crown. This vehicle is extremely reliable, agile for the parking lot but rugged enough for that rough road that makes your road trip fun. Every time you hop in, your mind will be at ease and your car travel will be a blast! Fill it up, get comfortable, and say those two words...because you're in the best car for a road trip!

Check your gvwr(gross vehicle weight rating) against what you are actually loading into your vehicle, before..not after loading it down for your road trip- you may be surprised just how little you vehicle is rated for, and how much you are overloading it.
