The phone has 2.4 gigahertz, which is standard for cheap cordless phones. The phone also features caller ID, 9 speed dial numbers you can program into the phone, call waiting, a phonebook that can hold up to 10 numbers, any key answer, voicemail waiting alerts, last number redial, and pager or handset locator. The phone also holds the last 30 numbers that called in the caller ID directory. Finally, the caller ID lights up when someone is calling and offers three lines of information.
While I do not have this exact model of phone, I own a Vtech phone, and I do like it.
Vtech VT2351 2.40GHz With Answering System: This phone is also made by Vtech, and retails for $26.49 on Deal Source Direct, though I know you can also purchase this phone in department and electronic stores. This phone includes caller ID, call waiting, speed dial for nine numbers, a lighted caller ID display when someone calls providing three lines of information about the caller, and a digital answering system. This phone also offers storage of up to 30 numbers in the caller ID memory.
AT&T E2812.4GHz Digital Cordless Phone with Answering Machine and Caller ID: This phone is available for $29.88 from Wal-Mart. This phone includes several appealing features, including caller ID, a 50-name caller ID directory, any key answer, 2.4 GHz, handset speakerphone, pager and handset locator, mute button, volume control for the handset, lighted keypad, a large digital display for the caller ID, 2.5mm handset compatibility, on-hook dialing, a redial button, remote access, the ability to record memos, 14 minutes of answering machine recording time, ability to mount the phone on the table or the wall, and new call indicator. This phone can be found on Wal-Mart.com or in Wal-Mart stores.
2.4 Basic Cordless Telephone: This phone is very basic and does not include a lot of features; however, it retails at Target for $12.99. The phone has an analog display, two ring tones, an ability to be mounted on a wall, and a charging cradle. The phone does not include caller ID or an answering machine. You can purchase this phone by visiting Target.com or Target retail stores.
Uniden 5.8A Dual Pack Phone with Caller ID: This phone has a few unique features, and retails at Target for $38.49. This phone features call waiting, caller ID, ability to be mounted on a wall, a redial button, last number redial, headset jack, speaker phone, call transfer, speed dial, phone book directory, name and number storage, three ring tones, a nester handset with a base, and an additional charging cradle. The additional charging cradle is a unique feature of this phone. This phone does not include an answering machine.

GE 5.8 GHz Cordless Phone with Digital Answering System: This phone retails for $29.99 at K-Mart. The phones features include the ability for 3-way calling, caller ID, a lighted LCD display, which tells you the name and number of the person calling, even when you are on the phone with someone else, call waiting, a digital answering system with 14 minutes of recording time, speed dial for 10 numbers, and a caller ID memory that stores the last 40 numbers that called you. The phone also has the ability to be mounted on a wall, includes a speakerphone, headset compatibility, and pager/handset locator.
This phone may be purchased from K-Mart.com or by visiting K-Mart retail stores.
Panasonic 6.0 DECT Cordless Phone KX-TG6311s: This phone contains several features and is available at Wal-Mart for $39.93. Features of this phone include the ability for 3-way calling, caller ID, call waiting, handset locator/pager, handset intercom, night mode, ringer alert and light up indicator, 50-station shared phonebook, a lighted LCD on the handset, ringer ID, expandable up to 6 handsets, handset speakerphone, built-in clock and alarm on the handset, and Ni-MH batteries, which are included with the purchase of the phone. This phone is able to be mounted on the wall, but does not include an answering system.

If you need to purchase a cheap cordless phone, you may want to consider one of the phones I described above. These are just some of the cheap cordless phones available on the market today.
