When I recently moved to Seattle a lot of people told me it was an expensive area. I was worried because I love to eat out at restaurants a lot, and I was hoping I would be able to manage to keep it in my budget. Thai cuisine is one of my favorite foods, and Seattle has an abundance of Thai restaurants. These are not only the best Thai restaurants in Seattle, but they won't break your budget.

Thai Thai-This restaurant is located in whites center, near nothing else. Even though you will have to go a little out of your way to go here it is well worth your time. They have a huge menu featuring many different items. One of the best things about this restaurant is that they make all their sauces from scratch, which not many restaurants do. The service is excellent and the owner really takes time to get to know his customers. If its your first time I suggest getting one of their combination dinners. Angel's Thai Cuisine-This is located in Capitol Hill on Broadway. This restaurant not only has great fresh Thai food they also have a great atmosphere. This is a great place to go, sit by a window and watch the all the people on Broadway. Their Swimming Angel is delicious, my husband has to get it every time he goes here. City Thai- This is located in Bellevue. With a very warm and cozy atmosphere you can get a very elegant dinner that you would expect to pay a lot more for. They have all the traditional Thai dishes that you would expect to find but they all seem to have a unique twist that makes them better and more unique. Noodle Studio- This is the place to go if you are looking to try some dishes that are more traditional regional Thai dishes. This restaurant offers a lot of unique dishes. They have everything from curried soups to flamed game hen. They also have a lot of uncommon seafood and noodle dishes. Another great thing about this restaurant is that they are willing to cater to any dietary needs. If you are a vegetarian or need certain things left out of your food they are willing to help. Bahn Thai- This is a great choice for a date night. They have a very warm and romantic atmosphere. Bai Tong is very close to City Center so it is a great place to start out your evening. They ask exactly how spicy you want each dish, so you don't need to feel intimidated if you like things mild. They have a huge menu with a large selection of options for everyone. Pon Proem- Locate on Mercer Island this is a great choice for Thai food. They offer a large selection of tofu based dishes for the vegetarian. They have three different kinds of say sauce to complement their dishes. They also have a Tempura style appetizer platter that is a great start to any meal. You can expect to pay around $25 for two. Thai Ginger- This is a excellent Thai restaurant, with quick friendly service. You have to be sure to try their namesake dish the "Thai Ginger", it is a lot of ginger, but delicious. Sea Thai- If you love spicy curries this is the perfect place for you. They do tend to add quite a bit of spice to their foods, so be careful if you like you food on the mild side. Their Gai Pud Pet is an excellent dish of chicken curry and bamboo shoots. This is one of the most reasonably priced restaurants.
