When your finances might not take you on the extravagant venture you have experienced in past years, there is still plenty to do without breaking the bank. There are thousands of cities with magnificent sights and adventures to see and do without spending a cent. Then there are others when visiting, your family will have a great time at minimal cost.

Las Vegas, California

The entertainment capital of the world knows how to get you there and keep you there with hundreds of free activities. Casino owners simply want to get you to Las Vegas. Once there they realize that many will visit their casino. So, to get you there, they offer all kinds f freebies to attract families, couples or honeymooners. Their list includes free entertainment such as The Fremont Street Experience. This adventure is a four block long electronic canopy prepared to attract visitors to the downtown area. The entertainment begins nightly right at dusk. visitors are treated with spectacular sight and sound shows. With over two million ligates, cascading through the airways, with sounds from 28 speakers blasting at 540,000 watts blasting through the airways. This is just one of the hundreds of attractions vacationers can enjoy without spending a dime.

Daytona Beach, Florida

If Florida is your destination this vacation season, visit Daytona. Daytona has enough ventures for the family on a budget, you might never consider spending money again. For the chocolate lover or chocolate loving family, plan to spend a couple of hours at Angell & Phelps Chocolate Factory. They offer a 30 minute tour of the factory providing information on their system which make some of this country's best chocolates.
