Northern Colorado, year around, offers some of the best coffee weather. In winter, a hot a hot cup of coffee is a necessity, and in the heat of the summer, nothing helps you chill like a rich, iced-mocha. Luckily, the Greeley area, in Northern Colorado, offers some of the best coffee and coffee houses I have ever had. Some, such as Margie's Java Joint offer a the perfect place to relax with a good friend or an amazing book, while others, like the Human Bean, offer fantastic and delicious drive-by service. It doesn't matter if you are looking for a causal atmosphere, drive-through convenience, or the class and elegance of the local Daz Bog, the Greeley, Colorado area has fantastic coffee.

Best Atmosphere to Read and Relax in Greeley Colorado - Margie's Java Joint

Margie's Java Joint is located inside of The Book Stop, one of the University of Northern Colorado's college bookstores. Margie's has a fantastic atmosphere to enjoy a friend, a good book, or both. While I was attending UNC, I spent many evenings with a copy of a Jane Austen novel and a hot espresso. The furniture is absolutely charming and eclectic and the wall decorations are equally as unique. Their are fantastic wall murals and even a baby doll epoxied into the floor; you would have to see it to believe it. Personally, I prefer the patio at Margie's. In the summer it is cool and relaxing and in the winter it is cozy and refreshing.

The drinks at Margie's are second to none, and the pastries and deserts are delicious. Margie's offers fabulous value because of the two free refills on coffee while in-house. Their lattes and double (or even triple) espresso's are often referred to as "the only real cup of coffee in Greeley." When combined with my Amazon Kindle, and a huge and fresh banana nut muffin, Margie's Double Espresso keeps the cold away.

Best Fancy Coffee with Outstanding Convenience in Greeley Colorado - The Human Bean

Yes, the Human Bean is a franchise coffee spot; yes, it is a drive-through, and yes, it has some of the best coffee available. The convenience factor of the Human Bean also puts it ahead of many of its rivals. The Human Bean coffee shops are small, drive-through or walk-in kiosks located immediately next to the road in several key locations in Greeley Colorado. No matter where you are headed, there always seems to be on ready to give you a 20 ounce mocha with a chocolate covered coffee bean on top. When I am going to a meeting, feeling rushed, or just trying to escape, the coffee from the Human Bean always seems to get me where I am going faster.

There are five Human Bean locations in Northern Colorado and all of them have the same fantastic menu. Drinks are named after candy bars such as the Snickers or Milky Way, but I prefer a latte with sugar-free chocolate. That is one of the things I like best about the Human Bean, they have a wide selection of syrups with many sugar-free choices. They also offer fabulous frozen granatas, a mocha and coffee drink, that can invigorate even the most exhausted commuter on a summer day.

Best Classy Coffee House for Meetings or Dates in Greeley Colorado - Daz Bog Coffee.

Technically, Daz Bog is located in Loveland, Colorado which is about ten minutes from Greeley. Daz Bog is the perfect coffee house for a meeting, date, or working coffee break. They offer free Wifi, comfortable and sophisticated furniture, a quite environment, and great lighting. I have arranged several lunch meetings at Daz Bog where my colleagues and I could relax with a breakfast burrito and a great cup of Russian Coffee. That's right - Daz Bog is decidedly Russian themed, but it works great.

Daz Bog has the largest selection of syrups and specialty drinks of my three favorite coffee spots, but their prices are higher. They do offer a frequent drinker program to entice you, and over the long haul things work out pretty even. Daz Bog does offer a great work environment; in fact, I am enjoying a large coffee with sugar-free caramel syrup as I type this, and I couldn't be happier.
