10. Disney Movie - The Mighty Ducks
I remember watching The Mighty Ducks when I was a little kid (I was born in 1992, the year this movie was made.) and wishing I could play ice hockey. Of course, no one played ice hockey where I lived so I was satisfied just by sitting there and watching the Ducks win the championship. Go Ducks!
9. Disney Movie - 101 Dalmatians
All I remember about the movie 101 Dalmatians from when I watched it as a kid is that I hated Cruella De Vil and I wished she would stop laughing like a weird evil lady. I loved the cute little puppies though, and that's why 101 Dalmatians made it to number nine on my list.
8. Disney Movie - The Jungle Book
The Jungle Book was not only one of my favorite movies, but it was my favorite book as well. What can, I say? I guess Baloo and his singing skills had a special place in my heart.
7. Disney Movie - Mary Poppins
As a kid, I was always amazed at how someone could jump off of a building and use an umbrella to glide safely to the ground. I would be lying if I said I didn't think it was real. I would also be lying if I said that I didn't contemplate trying it for myself. (Thank God I didn't.) Mary Poppins' magical umbrella earned her her spot at number seven.
6. Disney Movie - Cinderella
Ah yes, Cinderella, probably the first love story I ever watched. Along with everyone else, I wished Cinderella's evil step sisters would fall into a ditch and Cinderella would be able to go to the ball. Hooray for happy endings!
5. Disney Movie - A Bugs Life
I'm pretty sure this is the only movie that I've ever watched that features BUGS as the characters. The plot alone is amazing, what more do I need to say?
4. Disney Movie - Motocrossed
This is a movie that is about a girl that pretends to be her brother so she can ride motocross. I've seen this movie several times and it keeps my attention each time. Motocrossed is truly one of the best, or else they wouldn't play it on the Disney Channel every other month.
3. Disney Movie - The Lion King
After The Lion King came out, I remember getting the video game for my Game Boy. Although the movie was way more entertaining, I just couldn't stop playing it because I wanted to be just like Simba. (Even if it meant playing as him in a game.) The movie is truly inspirational and deserves the number three spot.
2. Disney Movie - Up
Up is a recent movie released by Disney and I got the chance to see it in theaters in 3D. It was entertaining, funny, and unique. Disney is certainly using their imagination with plots that include houses flying with the help of balloons.
1. Disney Movie - Toy Story
Toy Story. I had this movie on VHS and watched it over and over and over. I was Woody, and my brother was Buzz Lightyear. The next halloween, I was Woody. I was obsessed, and I still love this classic movie. Easily deserving the number one spot as the best Disney movie ever, I only have one thing left to say. "To infinity, and beyond!"

Post a CommentTotally agree on Toy Story! Even the sequel was amazing! (I love that little horse - What was his name?) Hey, have you ever seen "The Cat From Outer Space"? It's an oldie but goodie. Oh, and I have always loved Jungle Book - Good Ole Buloo! Fun article. My son is now 18 and heading off to college in the fall, so it's been a while since I've watched any Disney. But I LOVED that stage. Can't wait for grandkids!!! :)
1. lion king
2. aladdin
3. beauty and the beast/the little mermaid
disney pixar num 1 is cars no doubt.
well thats a load of shit
On the Disney Pixar issue, it's true that Disney owns them now, but strictly speaking, most of the ones that you chose were released before that happened. Because of that, technically they're still not Disney films. That said, you've picked some good ones. Also, most people wouldn't know the difference. For the record my favorite Disney is still Sleeping Beauty, and I think my favorite Pixar is probably The Incredibles, or maybe Cars. Up and Wall-E are also pretty awesome. It's a pretty big catalog to pick just 10, I guess. Good work.
I hope you at least thought about "Pinocchio" (from which we got the song, "When You Wish Upon a Star") and "Snow White," from which we got two more excellent songs. On the other hand, another great Disney song, "Zipidee Doodah," came from the mawkishly sentimental, horribly bad "Song of the South."
Disney now owns Pixar, so they are Disney movies.
my bad nvm
one problem, toy story, up, and a bugs life are PIXAR movies, not disney
Great list of Disney movies!
Great movies
