"The Easter Promise" is a movie from the 1970s. The film was one of a series that followed the same family, featuring the character of Addie Mills. It's a sentimental story and a classic to put on during the Easter season every year.

"Easter Parade" is a 1948 comedic musical starring Judy Garland and Fred Astaire. Judy plays a chorus girl picked up to be a major dance partner to Fred Astaire's character, when his former partner gives up on dancing with him.

"Alice in Wonderland" features a rabbit as a very important character. He's not an Easter bunny, but it's an important and fun tale. The animated version or the Tim Burton version (both by Disney) are winners.

"It's The Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown" is an Easter staple. A classic comedy moment? When Charlie Brown observed the pre-Christmas sales when Easter is approaching. It's a mockery of the advance placement so many stores do for holiday product placement.

"A Walton Easter" is the special Easter holiday reunion movie, featuring most of the original cast of the 1970s iconic television series. In this movie, you see what happened to all of those kids. This movie is set in 1969. (Keep in mind that the original series featured the siblings growing up during the Great Depression.) Although their lives did not end up perfectly, you'll soon recognize the lovable personalities in all the grown-up characters.

"The First Easter Rabbit" is a classic movie that's now on DVD. It was first aired on television in 1976. The movie opens with a young girl whose mother is making the child throw out all her stuffed animals, including the beloved rabbit Stuffy. Luckily, Stuffy is saved and encounters an adventure where it's revealed that he is destined to be the first Easter bunny. Yet, challenges stand in his way. With Burl ives in the mix, you can't go wrong.

"Miss Potter" is a perfect film, especially for adults, at Easter. It tells the story of the woman behind the most famous series of "Easter" Peter Rabbit books, Beatrix Potter. It stars Renee Zellweger as the famous, independent authoress.

"Little House on the Prairie's "The Lord Is My Shepherd." Although it was aired as a special 2-hour episode of the series, it is sold as its own film now, as a very special episode. It is a great story about getting closer to God, and a child's literal interpretation of that, leading little Laura to climb a mountain to be physically closer to God.

"Jesus Christ Superstar" is the film version of the famous Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. The songs are euphoric, and the story is intricate and interesting. Although initially controversially, it's now mostly seen as a classic, beloved musical.

"The New Adventures of Peter Rabbit" features the lovable rabbit in new stories, making it a perfect Easter present to put in the basket of the kids in your life.
