Food is exciting and there are many tastes to sample. Cooking at home is fun but going out to eat can also be enjoyable It can also inspire people to cook at home by preparing a version of a favorite restaurant dish. I have loved food for a long time and I both love to cook and go out to eat from time to time. Restaurants are a part of our culture and they are social places where people met to celebrate various occasions. There are so many great places to dine; but here are the best eateries of 2009.

1. Tio Leo's: Tio Leo's is a Mexican restaurant that makes the best guacamole. I also like their tacos, meatball soup, and tostadas.

2. Old Spaghetti Factory: I love their garlic bread, their brown butter and mizthra cheese dish. In addition, their spaghetti and mushrooms and their ice cream is delicious.

3. Outback Steakhouse: Outback Steakhouse is great because it makes me feel like I am in Australia. I always have the Victoria steak and the Bloomin Onion. Also, their dessert menu is sinful.

4. Michael's Grill: This best eatery of 2009 has great hamburgers and a good tuna sandwich

5. Ranchero Taco Shop: This Mexican restaurant has great service, delicious rolled tacos, and yummy chips and guacamole.

6. Olive Garden: I love their soup, salad, and breadstick lunch. I am also a big fan of their spaghetti and marinara sauce.

7. Panda Country: This Chinese eatery has great panada beef, which is beef with a spicy tangerine sauce. I also like the egg drop soup.

8. Ghaghis Kahn: This restaurant has delicious Mongolian barbeque. This best eatery of 2009 is in Minnesota.

9. The Broken Yolk: If you like eggs; like I do then, check out The Broken Yolk because it's egg-cellent.
