The Best Food Blogs of 2011

Mrs. Renee

Nowadays there seems to be an endless supply of food blogs available. Of course there are some that just stand out a bit more than others. So what makes a good food blog? First of all it has to be a blog that offers nice pictures of the dishes that are being fixed. People want to see what the different stages of the recipe looks like, but more importantly they want to see what the end result is. Look below for some of the best food blogs of 2011.

The Pioneer Woman Cooks

The Pioneer Woman cooks is one of the best blogs I have seen in a while. The blog has a lot of amazing pictures to go with each of the recipes. What is really nice about this blog is that she takes close up pictures of each of the stages. She now also has her own cooking show on the Food Network, so in addition to reading the blog you will also want to take a look at her food network recipes.

Bake at 350

This blog is really all about baking, the pictures alone make you want to run in the kitchen and get out the mixer. One of my favorite things about this blog are the unique cookies that you can make for just about any occasion. It shows you how creative you can be when it comes to something as simple as cookies.

She wears many hats

Once again it's all about the pictures with this blog. What I also like about this blog is the fact that you can easily print at the recipe. There is a printable section located at the end of the blog. This makes it a lot easier to add the recipe to your recipe catalog. The recipes are also very creative and shows you things that you may not have even thought of.

Smitten Kitchen

What is really nice about this blog is that you can follow it along and find some good and healthy recipes. There are also recipes for baby food as well. Another added feature is that you can browse the recipes by season, vegetable or fruit. Being able to narrow down what you need will certainly make life a lot easier.

Simple Recipes

If your looking for a blog that offers food that is a bit more healthy, than this is a good blog to start with. They also have budget recipes as well to help you with your expenses. The recipes listed here are great, for entertaining as well.
