The Best Food and Drinks Around - Barley Creek Brewing Company in the Poconos

I am a picky person. I like good food, variety, great service and nice atmosphere all at an affordable price. Not too easy to find. I found it though, Barley Creek Brewing Company. It is located in a very populated area with lots to do. It is right around the corner from the outlets as well as Camelback. It is easy to get to from anywhere in the Poconos.

The food is awesome!! The nachos are the best I have ever eaten. Piled high with lots of cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and great salsa on the side. You can add their famous chili if you like as well. They have many different appetizer items and everything we have tried is just wonderful. Their entrees are at such a reasonable price and so yummy!! You can even pick if you want regular french fries or sweet potato fries as your side with your entree. Let me tell you, the sweet potato fries are to die for!!! I never thought I would like them but I crave them now!!! The variety of the food selections is great, especially for picky eaters and children that like to experiment. You can chose from different soups and salads, sandwiches, burgers, fish and pasta for your meal. Whatever you decide, you won't be disappointed!!

Barley Creek is also known for their wide selection of beers on tap. They actually brew their own beer and there are many different varieties to choose from. They serve microbrews, cocktails and guest beers daily. They also sell their own bottled beer for you to take home and enjoy away from Barley Creek. They have a mini beer sampler platter with a few different types of their more popular choices. My husband and I tried this and it was very interesting. I am not a beer drinker but I enjoyed trying a sip of each different beers that they offer. The platter was about ten dollars or so and they give you about eight or nine shot size beers to try. This way, you get to try a few to decide which one you like best. They offer brewery tours every weekday as well for anyone interested in seeing how the beer is brewed on site.

Barley Creek also has a catering service as well as a banquet area. They can cater your off site affair for a reasonable price or you can have a private party in their party room. There are outside decks for you to enjoy the nice weather, when the weather is to your liking. You can even buy a souvenir tee shirt or other items before you leave. The kids will love the atmosphere and the food as well as the adults.

I highly recommend Barley Creek Brewing Company to anyone in the Poconos. With so much nearby in the area, you can make a full day of it. They open at eleven in the morning and are open until late in the evening. They cater to all types of people with all types of tastes. The staff are all so wonderful and friendly. So if you are in the area shopping at the outlets or maybe visiting Camelbeach or Camelback, stop in to Barley Creek and have some lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed!!!
