Start Your Diet does has a paid deluxe membership that you can also consider if you find that you outgrow the tools the free membership has to offer. As of right now I don't see anything in the deluxe membership that would constitute paying for it since they do offer so much for free.

This is another one of the best free online weight loss programs because it relies heavily on the weight loss community. In essence it is the beginners to weight loss looking up to the veterans and those veterans of weight loss taking the time to work with the beginner.
My Fitness Pal offers an online food journal that members can use to have some privacy, a food database with thousands of foods to look up, tools to track your food consumption as well as physical activity. You also get a customized weight loss plan fitness plan as well as plenty of motivational threads that they have in the forum.
