There is a special place in all of hearts for great service or great facilities, etc. Publix on North Kendall Drive is worth your time. I shop all over the place. Normally I shop wherever I happen to be at the moment because we are a nation of convenience oriented people. Recently I happened upon this Publix Grocery store and I will put my money on it that this grocery store is the cleanest in the nation.

I walked around the store and it was a maze of well organized, extremely clean, shelving and products. Every single aisle or department that I walked into had friendly staff that were more than willing to help me. I live in Miami and it is difficult as I am an English-only speaking person. Anywhere you go in Miami people are usually rude if you don't speak Spanish and almost ignore you. This publix is truly a model store. The employees made me feel comfortable. The store was very pleasing to the eye and gave me a feeling of safety in their storage of food products. Everyone gave me eye contact and tried to help me find what I was looking for.

The aisles were clean, the product was lined neatly on the shelves. The windows on the freezer reach-ins were wiped clean. There were no boxes here and there to obstruct your path. Everyone seemed to immediately move out of your way as if royalty were coming. I have not been part of service this great for a very long time. All the lights in the store were working which tells me they pay attention to the details. Maybe these are things the general public doesn't normally notice but I am a very picky person. I see the details.

When I arrived at the front counter the cashier was gracious and very friendly. Lots of eye contact. The grocery bagger smiled and told me he appreciated me shopping at their store. The grocery bagger couldn't have been more than 16 years old. What an incredible feat to get someone that young to be polite and courteous in this day.

I saw the manager's picture on the wall and asked to see him. He came right out and his name was Carlos. Carlos was more than happy to listen to me, thanked me for the feedback and was in my opinion a professional all the way. He thanked me for his vacations, his car, his beautiful home and told me because of people like me he was living a great life. He was genuinely thankful. I don't know what I can say except you had me at hello.

I hope that you will reward this store with your business as I now go out of my way to shop because I know what I will experience if I go to this store - A feeling of excellence and appreciation. I know they will take care of you. I know you will be impressed. If for some reason you do not have the same kind of experience I had, just ask for Carlos. I know he'll want to hear your experience.
