Tetra Gun Lubricants. Tetra Gun Lubricants makes a great gun cleaning solvent and is often found on the cutting edge of the types of products they deploy. The worst thing about this oil to me was the horrible smell that rushed up my nose when I opened the product up. Once you get used to the smell though application was very easy and it came with a very useful set of instructions and application directions. The Tetra brand gun cleaning solvent requires the user to follow the directions for preparing the solvents. Make sure and shake your oil before use and knead the grease before use. I found that Tetra Gun Lubricants kept my guns in great working order and rust free.
Shooters Choice Gun Cleaning Solvent. The Shooters Choice line of products is great for the muzzle loader as well as the avid hand gunner. I found the Shooters Choice line of gels did a great job of removing the harsh residue that is typically left in the long barrels of shot guns and rifles. I was well pleased when I tried this product on one of my dads old guns. The gun had sat dry for many years and the action on the gun was very rough and unsteady. With just one good soaking application the gun fired like new again. The Shooters Choice Gels removed years of built up residue and truly soaked into the metal to offer great protection.
Gunzilla BC-10 Gun Cleaning Solvent. Gunzilla is perhaps my favorite line of gun cleaning solvent. The Gunzilla products are offered across a vast array of products and you can find a great cleaner for your shotgun, rifle, six shooter, or semi auto. One of the greatest things about this gun cleaning solvent is that it is made completely of plant oils. This product is very green friendly, and it really works well. Gunzilla oils and solvents lack the horrific smell of other types of cleaning solvents. I have used this product for the past year or so and have been well pleased at how well it remains on the product through any season.
Make sure and check out each of these products and find one that works well for you. The right gun cleaning solvent can make your investment last for years to come. Happy Hunting.
