The Best High School Senior Day Pranks

For high school students, there is no better day than Senior Day in which the seniors at the high school are honored by having their own special day of fun. Part of that fun comes with the ritual school prank. In almost every school, seniors pull off the senior prank, much to the anger of the school administration. In most of these cases, the culprits of the school prank are never caught. Usually this prank is done very early in the morning before most of the students arrive. Here are some pranks that I have heard and seen being done in schools across the country for senior prank day.

Sticky stair railings: In a high school in New York, some seniors thought it would be funny to cover the stair railings with honey and pancake syrup. Apparently, the seniors in charge of the prank circulated what they had done among the senior class so that they themselves wouldn't touch the stair railings. Only the main stair case had been covered in syrup and honey so seniors were told to use the alternative stair case. Needless to say, administrators and teachers were not too happy with the prank when they themselves went to use the stairs. As for the rest of the student body, they went along with the joke, recognizing that this was part of school tradition.

Pancake shower: This prank occurred in one school's cafeteria as students were eating breakfast in the morning. Apparently someone had activated the sprinkler system in the cafeteria. Anyone in the cafeteria got soaked from the fire system sprinklers and got to eat their soggy pancakes for breakfast.

Those fish don't look to good: This high school prank that I heard of involved goldfish being placed in the urinals of the all the boys rest rooms. Since the gold fish were bigger than the holes for flushing down the water, the fish could not be flushed and thus remained in the urinal throughout the entire day. The stench of rotten fish could be smelled throughout the bathroom and the hallway and when boys went to pee, they received an unpleasant surprise.

Prank announcement: This fairly common prank involves getting onto the school Public Announcement system. In some schools, a phony announcement is made, a joke is told, or the Public Announcement system is somehow messed with, much to the amusement of the student body.

Setting them free: In one final case in the Midwest, seniors decided to let loose the birds in the birdcage room.
