Feeling A Bit Clingy
This is one of my favorites and definitely brings chuckles, or at least funny looks.
You will need a large cardboard box with holes cut in the sides for your arms. Decorate this box like your favorite dryer sheet. Here are a few to pick from:

or Bounce: http://images.evalu8.org/images/bounce.jpg.
Now that your costume is ready, it is time to set up your partner with theirs. Have them dress in their favorite jeans or even comfy sweats and gather up all the socks you can. You will also need some safety pins. It is now time to decorate your mate with the odd socks. The more socks, the better. Make sure they are covered in socks, but don't stab them with the pins!
Now you are ready for a night on the town as Static Cling!
Feeling A Bit Controlled
This is a super easy costume to make for all you gamers out there. Pick a person and have them dress up as their favorite video game character. Don't forget to dig in your closet and dresser, and even the kid's toy box, to complete your ensemble. You can be Pitfall Harry or even Mario, it doesn't matter. The next part of the couples costume is very simple. Have your partner dress up in their most favorite lounge around the house clothes, and grab a wireless game controller. Have the 'controller' walk behind the 'game character' and see how many strange looks you get. Or, if you have an old school Nintendo controller, for those true to heart gamers, attach it to their back belt loop and walk behind them. Whichever wired controller you use, make sure it is one with the longer cords!
Qwerty and Mickey= Friends Forever
For this you will need a large, long cardboard box and some white paper. Make sure there are arm holes in the sides of the box, but the box must run vertically, not horizontally. Take the white paper and tape it to the front of the box. Draw a keyboard on the white paper, the entire span of the box. Put it on. You are now Qwerty the Keyboard.
Now for Mickey, it will take a bit of creativity. Depending on what style mouse you use, this could get difficult. For me, all I need is a pair of big, round, black colored ears, a long black tail and a black nose with whiskers. You are now Mickey.
Walk together, side by side, and you will get some looks. What kind of looks, I won't say, but at least some will be laughing!
Most Important Meal of the Day
This is another quick and easy costume idea for you and your mate. You will need two large cardboard boxes this time, one for each of you. Again, make sure they have the necessary holes cut for the arms. Pick your favorite breakfast cereal, or make up your own. Draw it on the box, making sure to make it as realistic as you possibly can. You can even put the nutritional information on the side if you like!
For the second box, you will need to make the cuts for the arms, and also decide how you want your 'milk' carton to look. Do you want to fashion a hat to be the top of the carton, or do you want to just draw it on the front. Either way, it will look great! You can even use colorful markers, crayons and even glitter to make these projects come to life. Don't forget the 'Use By' date for a more realistic look.
Cheese Appeal
For this project, you will need to collect all your old toilet paper tubes; the more the better, but there is no set amount. Make sure they are clean of all the extra paper. You can choose to keep them their natural tan color, to simulate whole wheat pasta, or you can color it yellowish for standard pasta. You will want to wear the same color clothes as the toilet paper tubes. Attach them to your clothes with tape or pins, just don't make it uncomfortable to sit or walk. You are now a walking pile of pasta.
For the second half of this costume, you will need two large pieces of cardboard. Lay them flat on the ground and paint or color them a nice bright orange or white. (You will only need to color one side of each board.) Get some yarn and string them together to make a sandwich board or A frame. Make sure you dress in the same color as you painted your boards. (You can also paint it white, as in white cheddar.)
There you go! You are now Macaroni and Cheese!
