My personal choice of hot winter teas, is the Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Tea. This is one of the best hot teas all the way around. The flavor is quite distinct and this tea is often enjoyed with sugar and milk. However, these things are optional. This tea has a flavor of it's own without adding anything extra.
Peppermint teas are great for this time of the year and are also considered one of the best hot winter teas. I personally like this one around Christmas time but it is perfect for any occasion. To enhance the flavor, try adding a candy cane to this hot winter tea.
Strawberry mango fruit flavored hot tea isn't your conventional tea, but is delicious. Tea of this variety can be enjoyed by the entire family. Hot winter teas such as this may only be available at many specialty shops and there are so many brands to choose from. However, Harney & Sons is a bit pricier, but this hot beverage is well worth the extra cost.
As clique as it may seem, earl grey tea needs to be considered when it comes to the best hot winter teas. This tea is a classic that has been around for a long time, but it is still one of the number one tea choices available. This variety of hot tea can be found at almost any supermarket and is inexpensive due to its availability, which makes it an even sweeter deal.
The fifth and last of the best hot winter teas is the Rooibos tea. While many may have not heard of this tea, it is quite old. The tea is red in color and offers a sweet, but nutty flavor without additives. The availability of this tea may also be limited and hard to find in the supermarket but is usually carried by small ethnic shops.
Hot winter teas can be just as enjoyable as a hot cup of chocolate but packs a bonus! Not only are many of these teas delicious, but offer numerous health benefits. No matter which you decide, all of these hot winter teas are sure to please the taste buds.
