While the Sikeston/Miner, Missouri area is certainly by any standards considered a "small town," it has long been a favorite stop by travelers, truck drivers, and tourists alike. Situated off of I-55, it is often passed by folks traveling north to the St. Louis region, as well as people headed south to Memphis, Tennessee. The hotel also dotes on providing handicap accessible facilities under the American Disabilities Act. Raudmont features both an indoor and outdoor pool. The hotel also is home to its own restaurant, which is convenient, but isn't about to win any culinary awards. However, the hotel's lounge is a sure bet. Its chatty regular patrons and nice billiards tables will be sure to keep you entertained for hours. Additionally, the lobby and guest room décor is tasteful and refined and doesn't give off the "cheap hotel" feel that make most other hotels indistinguishable. Combine that with the smiling and knowledgeable staff, it is no wonder that this is one of the hotels that fills up quickly.
