Looking for some inexpensive Christmas gifts this holiday season? These tough economic times don't have to put a damper on your holiday cheer. Here are some great Christmas gift ideas that cost under 10 dollars each.

iTunes gift card. With the explosion of iPhones and iPods, just about anyone will appreciate an iTunes gift card. ITunes gift cards can be used to purchase music, videos or game downloads for iPods and iPhones. Gift cards for the iTunes can be purchased on the iTunes website, but they come in specified denominations starting at $15. But you can always pick up a three pack of $10 iTunes gift cards at retail stores like Target, which you can divvy up into three inexpensive gifts.

Personalized Gifts from Snapfish. The popular photo website Snapfish.com offers some cool personalized gifts that are sure to fit your budget. Upload a photo and create personalized notepads for only $7.99. If you have a coffee lover on your list, you can make a personalized photo mug for $9.99. To keep this gift within budget, check online for discount codes before you place your order. Snapfish often offers coupon codes for free shipping and discounts for up to 35% off.

DVD gift. Discount stores often have inexpensive DVDs, sometimes for $5 or less, and often there are some good titles for both adults and kids. Check out the discount DVD section at Target or Wal-Mart for the latest sale titles. You can put together an inexpensive DVD gift with some hot chocolate mix or popcorn.

Christmas ornament- Home décor store Pottery barn has a selection of gorgeous Christmas ornaments this year, many of them priced at $10 or less. You can choose from a silver reindeer, a beaded snowflake, a peppermint sphere and a selection of glitter ornaments. Best of all, Pottery barn is offering free shipping on all of their Christmas ornaments this season.

Bargain Books from Amazon. Online book store Amazon.com has a great selection of bargain priced books on their site. And as always, if you spend at least $25 Amazon will ship your order for free if you select the "Free Super Saver Shipping" option. Some great book selections priced under 10 dollars include: "Deceptively Delicious" - Jessica Seinfeld ($9.98); "A Short Guide to a Happy Life"- Anna Quindlen ($9.32); "It's Easy being Green: A Handbook for Earth Friendly Living" ($5.18). Quantities are limited for bargain books and titles change, so check back often.

Movie theater gift card. This gift will cost you $11, but it's worth the extra buck. Purchase a $10 gift card to a local movie theater and attach it to a big box of movie theater type candy from the dollar store (most dollar stores sell jumbo size boxes of Sugar Babies or M& M's).Your friend will get to see a movie and have a snack to munch on at the theater.

Inexpensive Gift Ideas for Kids

10 items from the dollar store. At first glance, your local dollar store may seem to have a lot of junk. Not in a kids eyes, though. You can gather together 10 items and put together an awesome gift for any kid on your list. Look for craft items like markers, paint and glitter, hair and makeup items, plastic toys, baby items and more.

Anything at Five Below. A recent trip to the discount store Five Below turned up a ton of inexpensive gift ideas. From cool sports items and books to trendy hair accessories, bath items, toys and craft items ($2,00 Disney art sets!) you're bound to find some affordable items for just about everyone on your list. Nothing in the store is priced over $5.

Zhu Zhu pets. This item is one of the Hot Toys for 2009. Zhu Zhu Pets are interactive motorized pets. If you can find Zhu Zhu Pets at a toy or discount store, they are normally priced under $10 (EBay sellers and scalpers are selling them for double the price or more). Finding them is the key. Call your local toy store to see if and when they will be getting a shipment.

Bargain Books from B&N. Books store chain Barnes and Noble has a great selection of children's books for under $10. This season look for books by Maurice Sendack, Charles Schultz, Norman Bridwell, Paul McCartney (yes, he wrote a children's book) and Madonna. You can order the discounted books online from the Barnes and Noble website, or go to your nearest store and check out their ever-changing Bargain Books section.

Wal-Mart 2009 Toy Deals. Retail chain Wal-Mart plans to unleash a slew of toys this holiday season priced at under 10 dollars. After the success of last year's $10 holiday toy offerings, the chain will sell over 100 popular items like Transformers, Play Doh sets, board games, and Barbie dolls for under 10 dollars each. The $10 price will be valid throughout the Christmas shopping season, not just on Black Friday.
