One More Cup coffee house is truly a neighborhood coffee house. Located in Waldo in south Kansas City, it truly reflects the people and feel of the area. Broadway Café and Roastery

Broadway has two locations, one being the Broadway Café in Westport, located on Broadway of course. This place has its share of artists, writers and regular folk who pack the place daily for the great coffee. The Roastery is located in Westport as well at 4012 Washington. Muddy's

On any given day Muddy's is full of UMKC students, professors, and business people on their way to work downtown. It's a small cozy place, situated right next to campus and The Country Club Plaza. The Roasterie

The Roasterie in Brookside, Kansas City is perhaps one of the largest coffee shops in town. Plenty of seating for working or reading is available, and they have outdoor seating as well for those pretty summer days. They roast their coffee her in Kansas City, and offer an amazing selection of flavors, including a line of organic coffees. You can also find Christopher Elbow chocolates under glass at the counter. Crossroads Coffeehouse

Located in the Kansas City Crossroads District, this coffee house is inspired by a great cup of coffee the owners Jalene and Douglas Berger had while on vacation. They returned and opened their own coffee shop and now serve breakfast sandwiches and Build Your Own Grinders. A nice selection of soups and hot lunch specials round out the menu offerings at lunch as well. And don't forget to grab a cup of their steaming hot java! The Filling Station Converted from an old gas station, this KC coffee house also serves some terrific food in a relaxed casual atmosphere. Downtown workers and artist types fill this placed during the lunch hour, all trying to get a cup of some of the best coffee from local roaster Oddly Correct Coffee's.
