Start with the Four Seasons in the LA area. Yes this hotel is pretty pricey, but it's been voted one of the best hotels to take kids in the city. They even have a program for children where they get a tee-shirt when you check in and free cookies and milk before bedtime. Their outdoor swimming pool is also something special to see because it looks like something out of a movie, complete with cabanas and a floral jungle. You might even see a few celebrities hanging out poolside.
The Safari Inn in nearby Burbank is something pretty special, but it's also a little cheaper than some of the other hotels in the area. The Safari looks like something straight out of another time period with bright neon lights and gorgeous palm trees lining the hotel. Your kids will love just how trippy this building looks. Plus it's closely located to some of the hottest attractions in the area.
The Sheraton Universal Hotel is also a good choice for those with families and kids. This hotel is owned by Universal Studios and pretty close to their amusement park. It's also attached to the CityWalk, which your kids will absolutely love. They also have a game room at the hotel so make sure to bring along lots of quarters for your kids! And when you feel the need to escape from the kids, you can get a babysitter from the hotel.
The Inn at Venice Beach has been picked by several different websites and companies as one of the best kid friendly hotels in the Los Angeles area. This hotel is located so close to the beach that you'll feel like you're right on it. The area leading up to the beach is full of places where you can rent rollerblades, bikes and even surfboards. You can also find instructors to teach you how to rollerblade, bike, or surf! The hotel is free for kids under 12 and you get free breakfast in the morning.
Lastly check out the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, especially if you have kids under the age of 10. The hotel offers free gifts for kids and they have a special menu available for kids. On top of that their just a short walk away from the Santa Monica amusement pier. Your kids will also love being able to get out of bed and walk just a few minutes to hit the beach.
If you're planning a trip to Los Angeles with your family, these are the best hotels for you and your kids.
