The Best Local Mexican Restaurants in Delaware County, PA Area
Neighborhood: Delaware County
Springfield, PA 19064
United States of America
My family loves Mexican food, but we love to eat at non -chain Mexican restaurants. We prefer more authentic Mexican food. Even my three year old daughter loves spicy taco rice! Here the three best Mexican restaurants we frequent in the Delaware County, PA area.

Mesa Fresh is not a big chain restaurant. With only three locations, they are able to serve simple, delicious and fresh Mexican foods. The restaurant we frequent is located at: Marple Crossroads Shopping Center 400 S State St Springfield, PA 19064. We love the location as we can run errands in Old Navy or the Marshalls and then go enjoy dinner. The phone number is: 610.544.5605. You can eat in or you can get take out. If you choose to eat in, it is very casual and there are no waiters. You can order take out by phone or through their easy online ordering system. We love to order online and then go pick it up, keeps things very simple! Mesa Fresh is different from other Mexican eateries because they use all fresh ingredients and buy almost all locally grown products. They have zero trans fats and use hormone free meat. When you eat here you really can taste the difference. The tacos and burritos are simple and tasty. No alcoholic beverages are served here. You can visit their website at: http://www.getmesafresh.com/index.php

Another great local place to get Mexican food is: La Marqueza Mexican Grill. It is located at:
109 Fairfield Avenue, Upper Darby, PA 19082. The phone number is: (610) 352-4519. This is a family restaurant where most of the workers speak fluent Spanish. We really enjoy the authentic dishes they make and they have very modest prices. One thing to note is that they do not have a liquor licenses, but you can bring your own tequila. They also do not have a website.

Our favorite place for Mexican food involves a quick trip to University City to Distrito. They are located at: 3945 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia Pa. There are many meters spots to park in and there are a few pay lots at this location in University City. It makes it easy to take a quick trip for lunch or dinner. There are two places to eat. You can eat in the casual Cantina or the formal restaurant. They serve lunch from 11:30 to 2:30 each day. They offer a unique brunch experience on weekend mornings. If you go at dinnertime, be sure to get Yellowtail fish tacos. They are so tasty! Their service is excellent here and wait staff are friendly. You can visit their website at: http://www.distritorestaurant.com/

The next time you are craving Mexican food, consider our three favorite places. Whether you for the trendy Distrito, La Marqueza Family restaurant or the casual Mesa Fresh - you won't be disappointed.
