The Best Miniature Golf Locations in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania

I feel proud to have grown up in a place that offers some of the best miniature golf courses around. Lancaster County, Pennsylvania is not just about the Amish. Instead, our county also boasts some very fun, and family oriented places to tee off, miniature style.

The absolute best place in Lancaster County to go, is Village Greens (http://www.villagegreens.com), located at 1444 Village Road in Strasburg, Pennsylvania. Fees for the Orange course are $6.50 for adults, and $5.50 for senior citizens and children. The Gold course is $8.00 for adults, and $7.00 for senior citizens and children.

Their original Orange course, which is 18 holes, offers up a cave that you can enter without having to duck, covered bridge to walk through, and even a tobacco shed. The course is perfect if you enjoy the more classic miniature golf styles. The Gold course, which has 23 holes, is the newest course to Village Greens. It's a bit more difficult, as a stream flows through the course, and throughout the course you can enjoy the beautiful landscape and gardens of the Gold course as it winds up and down the hill. Village Greens has an excellent snack bar that you can enjoy before or after the game for an ice cream, a pretzel, a soda and more, and group rates are available.

Leisure Bowling and Golfing Center, located at 3440 Columbia Avenue, Lancaster, Pa, is another great spot for mini golf. Their Safar Mini Golf has 19 holes where you travel through a simulated Safari environment complete with a massive Gorilla. Hours and pricing varies on season, but you can visit their website http://www.leisurelanes.com for more information. After your done golfing, you can also explore their bowling center, putting course and driving range.

At 2249 Lincoln Highway East in Lancaster, Pa, you can find Wonderland Mini-Golf, right next to the famous Dutch Wonderland amusement park for kids. At just $6.25 ages 4 and older (under 3 is free), you can enjoy their fun, unique course based on the amusement attractions of the theme park. This is a great place to take the kiddos, as you are surrounded by restaurants and the Dutch Wonderland amusement park to keep everyone entertained for hours (http://www.dutchwonderland.com).

There are still many other top notch miniature golf courses located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. However, I think you can find all the golfing excitement you desire within these three courses. They are cost friendly, and family oriented to keep everyone happy.
