Columbus, Ohio is a growing metropolitan city in the Midwest. Jobs, good schools, and nice neighborhoods make it an excellent place to raise a family. There are plenty of great places for individuals to reside at in Columbus, depending on lifestyle and affordability. Ohio State University, Cosi, and the Columbus Metropolitan Museum are highlights of Columbus. So are great shopping centers like Tuttle Crossing, Polaris, and Easton Town Center.

Westerville, a northeast Columbus suburb, is a great place to reside. Westerville is Columbus' largest suburb for a reason. Westerville is a safe Midwest suburb that has great parks, recreation, and services. The best areas to live in Westerville include Windsor bay and Highland Lakes.

German Village is also a great neighborhood in Columbus. The neighborhood is mostly composed of older homes and businesses. German Village along with its brewery district is a popular locale in Columbus. It is a great place for those looking for older, well, crafted homes.

Old Towne East is a historical residential artsy area located near German village and downtown Columbus. Housing ranges from starter Cape cods, to higher end residences.

Bexley and New Albany are great neighborhoods for well-to-do individuals in Columbus. Bexley is arguably the most exclusive neighborhood in Columbus Ohio. It is east of downtown Columbus. IT is comprised of older homes on beautiful tree lined streets. Most of the residents are upper-middle class professionals, and those with "old money".

Most Columbus residents prefer homes in the suburban areas farther away from the city, but with the revitalization of downtown, this could easily change. Columbus, Ohio is a rapidly changing city with communities that have changed over the years. Many businesses are actually located in the suburban areas, so it actually makes since for residents to want to live near these businesses. Columbus suburban areas have literally become cities of their own.

When looking for a home in Columbus, it important to really analyze location. For families, suburban schools are usually the deciding factor. Those without children may want to be closer to downtown or the Ohio State University area.
