Which Ones Offer the Perfect Lifestyle for Singles, Couples, and Families
Central Business District
Downtown Dallas is becoming one of the hip places to live. Within the last seven to 10 years, the area of downtown has been revitalized. It offers a number of loft style apartments, as well as regular apartments. There are plenty of restaurants as well as clothes in the neighborhood. The apartments located in this area offer underground parking. Schools for children that reside in this area are on the outskirts of the downtown area, but never far. The preferable resident for this area would be singles or those without children due to the lack of plate areas available.
West End/Victory Center
The West End and Victory Center areas are adjacent to downtown Dallas. This area offers more upscale living. One such property is the W Hotel. Above the hotel section of the property are various sized apartments available for sale. The smallest apartment starts at $150,000. The area is full of restaurants, bars, and clubs as well as being adjacent to the American Airlines Center. This is a suggested area for people who do not mind spending money for their location.
Uptown
Uptown which is also known as Cedar Springs is an area full of different types of housing. There are tons of apartments, including 20 story high-rises, standard 3 floors, town houses, as well as any single-family homes. The area offers many different choices of restaurants as well as having schools for all ages of children located nearby. This area is more suited for families with children or teens.
Richardson
Richardson is a suburb of Dallas that is just to the north east of downtown just a short 15 Minute Drive away. The Richardson area offers various forms of housing including plenty of apartments, and various types of single-family homes. The homes available in this area range from modest homes to homes in upwards of $500,000. There is plenty of nearby shopping and restaurants. Moreover, the Richardson school District offers some of the best schools in the Metroplex. This area is great for families with school age children.
Las Colinas/Irving/Coppell
One of the newer growing suburbs of Dallas is the Las Colinas/Irving/Coppell area. All of the areas offer apartments and single-family homes. Irving is the oldest of the three areas that are all adjacent to each other. It offers homes that very from being modest to homes in the $300,000 range. Las Colinas on the other hand is home to extremely nice apartment living as well as single-family homes, which usually start at about $150,000 and go up. Coppell is the newest of these areas. This area offers the nicest homes. Houses start at about $200,000 and can go up to $2 million. The entire area is adjacent to many corporate businesses as well as lots of restaurants and convenient shopping. It is a true area of quiet suburban living. Of the three areas, Coppell has the best school district. This area is suitable for singles, couples, and families with school age children.
