Damn you Stick Stickly!
Rocko's Modern Life
Memorable quotes:
"Turn the page..wash your hands...turn the page....wash your hands..." -Filburt
"____ day is a very dangerous day." -Rocko (add in any random day of the week)
"Hey you! Get out of my salmon bushes!" -Mr. Bighead
Why I loved this show:
This show was ahead of its time. The show had the zaniness of a kid's show with the innuendo and references of an adult program. Rocko has aged really well. They really need to release Rocko's Modern Life on DVD.
The Ren & Stimpy Show
Memorable quotes:
"You eeeeediot!' -Ren
"Happy happy joy joy happy happy joy joy" -Stimpy
"Quick, man! Cling tenaciously to my buttocks!" -Powdered Toast Man
Why I loved this show:
I loved how weird it was. The show was absolutely insane and at times scary for a little kid. It was so different from every other kids show. The show had gross humor, intelligent humor, dark humor, and every other kind of humor in between. They don't make kid's shows like this anymore. The show had some trouble at times because of whiny parents but it managed to get 52 episodes out. If DVD sales are good we might even get a few more.
The Angry Beavers
Memorable quotes:
"Desperate times call for desperate desperateness." -Daggett
"Where in the name of deus ex machina did that T-Rex come from?" -Norbert
"Dag: "You stink!"
Norb: "Oh, shut up, Dag!"
Why I loved this show:
I am going to use this space to complain. That last quote was one of the reasons this show got canceled. Seriously. Someone complained about Norb using "shut up". Nickelodeon then tried to censor the word "up" and that made things worse than before. After a few angry phone calls and a few other internal problems, The Angry Beavers were canceled. By the way, do you notice the obvious sexual reference that the title makes. Funny how a lot of old Nickelodeon cartoons got away with innuendos like that.
Nick Arcade
Memorable quotes:
"Points, Puzzles, Pop Quizzes and Prizes" -Phil Moore
"I'm going to have to take Mikey straight to the goal." -Phil Moore
Why I loved this show:
Well, it certainly wasn't the host of the show. When I see older episodes I want to strangle Phil Moore. His stupid dancing and ridiculous ad libbing really irritate me now. But the video games! The sweet video games! I remember watching this early in the morning and then proceeding to go play video games for the rest of the day. I would have loved to play those arcade games with Phil Moore and Mikey.
Honorable Mentions
Legends of the Hidden Temple, Doug, Rugrats, Muppet Babies (shut up), CatDog, Looney Tunes, KaBlam!, All That, Are You Afraid of the Dark?
Mike O'Malley looked like Bill Murray a little bit...
So did I miss any? Do you remember any of these? Did you have to watch any of these with your little kids and hate them? Just leave a comment if I left anything off or I got something wrong

Anyone remember Pinwheel,Maya the bee,or The Little Bits.I also remember when they had Are you afraid of the dark but that's was like in the 90s.
it was called "Noozles," The Adventures of little koala were differnt
"Adventures of the Little Koala" is the show you guys are talking about. I loved it!!! They did have the inrto on YouTube, but I think it is no longer there. I spevt forever trying to remember the name of this show, and only a few people I know can recall it. i remember it has a great theme song. Made in Japan I think.
Does anyone else remember the short cartoon Nick used to play??? There was this one that usually had some type of sports theme, in one episode these large cat where playing hockey with these small pigs. I don't remember who one in the end but I know Im not crazy and someone else has to remember this too. I believe they aired more in probably the late 80's.
rocko's modern life
What about "You Can't Do That On Television" Old School Classic

there was another one with a koala too i wanna say his name was roobear, both of those were awesome
Does anyone remember the cartoon with the koala that goes on adventures with the little boy? The koala lives in the eucalyptus tree outside his house. Damn it ...I need to know.
ok, gang lets face it, nickelodeon sucks today. And any person that was growing up in the early 80s and 90s is going to tell you that. We were the nick generation, and for us to say that nickelodeon sucks really says something. Those corporate lackies should get off their bums and bring all the shows back. Figure out all the copyright issues and bring them back to a station. Long live nick of the 80s and 90s!!!!!
