If at some time you decide to disable this amazing feature of Windows Vista then let me teach you how to do the same. For those who don't know what Windows Mobility Center exactly is, then this is the time to learn about Windows Mobility Center.
In order to disable Windows Mobility Center, you will have to hack your registry. Again by the word "hack the registry", I mean that you will have to modify certain parameters of your windows registry. Make sure that you take a backup of the registry in order to prevent accidental damage to it because if your registry gets damaged then you will end up with a corrupt operating system. In other words, you will not be able to start Windows.
Manual Registry Hack
Click the 'Start Menu' button and select 'Run'. A new window will appear, there type "regedit" and press 'Enter' key. A registry editor window will appear. Navigate to the following key listed below;
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesMobilityCenter
If you don't see it, you will need to create an entry for the same. Create a 32-bit DWORD entry on the right side of the registry editor and name it as NoMobilityCenter. Finally, assign it a value of 1.
