What does spring and summer mean? Fun and adventure in the great outdoors. What better way to let loose on your first outing of the summer, than to hit the river and do some whitewater rafting. Rafting is one of the most exciting water activities available for the entire family to enjoy. I have lived all over the United States from the east coast to the west coast and a few places in between and have experienced just about every outdoor activity you could think of, from rock climbing, whitewater rafting, cliff jumping and so much more. Thanks for a good article. I've always wanted to try white water rafting. Maybe this summer!

The wildest rafting trip I ever took was the Forks of the Kern River trip near Kernville, CA. It had basically class 4 and 5 rapids the whole way, one after the other. And it was in wilderness. Overnight trip, at least one night.
