Spring break is the time that many look forward to each year. It's the time that everybody relies on to give them a break. The best part though is the relaxation, and what better way to relax than staying at one of the top 5 resorts of 2009? Grab your suitcase and get ready to travel because my top five are as follows:

5. The Ixian Grand is a breath of fresh air, located on the beach front, 5 minutes from Rhodes, Greece and conveniently close to many attractions like stunning bays and historical sites. Its contemporary Rooms start at $137/night. Dining at the Ixian gives you many culinary choices, from casual to gourmet in their four built in restaurants. Facilities like the room modem, private pools, and water sports are all just a part of staying at the Ixian.

4. Rooms at the Sheraton Mirage Resort and Spa Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia start at $130/night. This Sheraton is surrounded by extensive, gleaming, lagoons and tropical gardens, which makes staying at the Sheraton a dream-like experience.
