Dine simply on oatmeal and fruit, or try a tasty omelet, pancakes, eggs benedicts, crepes, waffles, or go for a skillet meal made up of your favorite breakfast foods. But if you sleep in on a lazy summer morning, never fear, Le Peep serves sandwiches, burgers and wraps for lunch. Check individual locations for prices.

City Hot Dogs

Nothing says summertime like a hotdog, and so many choices exist at City Hot Dogs you'll chow down on something new every time. Of course, there's nothing wrong with having a favorite and sticking to it, such as The City Dog for just $2.69 that comes with mustard, onions and relish. Make it a combo by adding a drink, chips, fries or slaw for $2.50 more.

There's also the Southern Dog, a Carolina tradition with homemade chili, slaw and onions, Chili Dog, Double Scoop Chili Dog, Chicago Style Dog, New York Dog, Reuben Dog and Sausage Dog. Want a Veggie Dog or Veggie Chili? You can have that too, plus you can have your dog char-grilled, deep fried, incinerated, skinless or made kosher.

When you get that craving for a hot dog, share a footlong with your sweetie or bring the whole family to this kid-friendly establishment because prices are low and the dogs are made to satisfy!

Charlotte is a great city, although my lasting memory of the city is almost being moved down by a driver as she smashed into a car in front of her, almost hitting me and my husband as we tried to cross the road!
