The Best Slovakian Baby Boy Names

Viktorya Hale
I had a little help with choosing these names. My little girl got to pick her favorite Slovakian baby boys names. So here is what she came up with. There is no particular order. All of the names are in alphabetical order.

#1 An-ton

This is a name that was popular in the 1880's, but has declined in popularity over the years. The name is from Slovakian decent and means worthy of praise.

#2 Fad-ey

Well, this didn't even hit the charts. My little girl seems to like it though, so it made our list of the best names. Fadey means courageous and is of Slovakian decent, as well.

#3 I-van

This has always been a very popular name over the years. This name means God is good.

#4 Ker-sten

A name that definitely sounds like a girl name as well. Not in Slovakia, though. This name simply means Christian. Unfortunately, this is not on the top chart list, either. If you are looking for a unique name for your new son, this is definitely one.

#5 Lel

Another extremely unique name! This Slovakian name means taker. It sounds like this could be another great middle name, as well.

#6 Mi-ko

This is a form of Michael meaning "who is like God". Although this is not on the chart, there have been quite a few people with this name.

#7 Rad-man

This is definitely an unusual name, but can be used for either a boy or girl. Joy is the meaning of this name, yet was not even found on the charts. However, you can change that by naming your little boy, Radman.

#8 Tra-va

We don't think that there are very many popular Slovakian boy names, but this one is definitely unique. It means fresh grasses. This is another one that can be used for a boy or a girl, as well.

#9 Vlad-i-mir

The pronounciation for this one is sort of complicated, but it is very unique to say the least. Perhaps we should have named the article Unique Slovakian Baby Boy Names. This name means Prince.

#10 Yar-mil-la

Here is another one that can be used for either or boy or a girl. This is another unusually unique name that didn't hit the charts, but that is okay. You may like it for your baby. This one means merchant.

There they are. If you want to be different or perhaps your heritage is Slovakian, you may find these baby boy names perfect for your little one.
