The Best Solo Feral Druid Leveling Build has been debated over since the dawn of World of Warcraft. This is true with every class. This is the first installment of a collection of articles focused on bringing you the best builds for each class in World of Warcraft. Today, we'll look at the best solo feral druid leveling build as voted on by my guild and on various forums around the Internet. This feral druid build is bound to get you to max level faster than any other leveling build out there. Drum roll please. This is the best solo feral druid leveling build!

Cookie Cutter Build

One of the great advantages to level as a Feral Druid is that you don't have to use your Marna to fight. You can use it to heal yourself instead. This automatically gives you a great advantage compared to those choosing to level as Balance or (god forbid) Resto. This build takes extreme advantage of that special perk and maxes out your damage and efficiency even more. This is the whole idea behind the best solo feral druid leveling build.

Ferocity gives you more energy or rage to spend on other moves. This is essential for long fights and encounters that tend to get drawn out over time or last longer than you would have intended. Ferocity is one of those underestimated talents due to the fact that it WILL NOT help much with your burst damage. This causes many Feral Druids to skip it, but this is the wrong mentality. Ferocity WILL help greatly with your overall damage output over time, therefore making it optimal for raiding and soloing applications.

Feral Instinct is necessary because, let's face it, there ARE going to be times where you'll have to pull more than one mob and be forced to duke it out while in Bear Form. The optimal speed and efficiency comes from cat form yes, but you will be forced to pull multiple mobs during some quests while soling, so you'll want the extra damage from swipe with this talent. The reduced chance for enemies to detect you thing could come in handy too, but that's more for raiding and pvp purposes. Still, it's a nice bonus.

Savage Fury is a given. it increases the damage that all of your bread and butter moves cause. Yes sir! I'll take that. Feral Swiftness is key because it allows you to move 30% faster. Moving faster is killing faster. Hoorah! We've taken Sharpened Claws for the extra critical strike rating. This not only boosts your damage, but also helps a hell of a lot when you're in bear form due to the fact you'll have to switch gear, bringing down your natural crit percentage.

Shredding attacks is a decent talent to take for leveling, but to be honest, it's not essential. It looks good on paper, but if you aren't behind someone, you're not going to be shredding. We've taken it here because it's good to get a shred in after a pounce and that's about all. Also, if you DO end up grouping while leveling )which isn't the best for the solo feral druid leveling build), you'll be glad you took it. As far as the lacerate bonus goes, whatever, it's just an extra.

All of the other talents in this build are absolutely co-Dependant on each other. This build can be changed a bit, but it's not recommended and keep it mind all of the other variants have been tried. This has been tested, tried and found to be the best solo feral druid leveling build to date. Good luck in World of Warcraft and view my other articles if you've got other questions!
