The Best Spots for a Romantic Dinner in Binghamton, New

Daniel Rein
Binghamton, NY is a great city that is filled with plenty of great restaurants. I should know since I'm still a college student and occasionally college students like to take people on a date to a romantic restaurant. Here are some romantic places that are affordable and have plenty to offer while having a romantic time as well.

The Spot is one of the best places that you can go for a romantic time at a restaurant. The restaurant is similar to a diner but is also completely different. Chandeliers hang from the ceiling and mirrors are scattered throughout the restaurant at various locations. The lighting is slightly dimmed and the service is great. The seats are made of white leather and there are booth tables so that couples can sit next to each other or opposite each other to talk. The service is great and so is the food. The restaurant offers a wide array of food to choose from whether you are having lunch or dinner it makes no difference. Complete meals include a T-bone steak or an eggplant Parmesan meal. You get great value and food for your money as the complete dinners

The Whole in the Wall restaurant is located in downtown Binghamton and is a very lively and spirited place. The restaurant has a wide range of Champaign, wine, beer and other alcoholic drinks. In addition, the food is excellent. The prices are slightly above average but for the great time you will spend there it is money worth spending. The setting of the restaurant is located down a set of stairs and the outside of the restaurant has brick walls that give it an older look and feel to the place. On weekends this restaurant that specializes in fine Italian dining is packed to capacity as chatter fills the air. The Whole in the Wall restaurant does offer valet service for vehicles but only on weekend nights or holidays in which the restaurant has many people eating there and needs to usher in and out people to fill as many tables as possible.

Restaurant #5 is another great place to hold a romantic evening. Fresh flowers decorate the table as large portions of shrimp and steak are served right out of a fiery pan. You have the option of how big or what kind of meat cut you would like of the steak. In addition, the chef makes several fish different styles including seared, broiled, filleted and grilled. There are tons of options to choose from. You might have a while to wait for a table but you will usually be seated within a half an hour. On holidays, especially Valentine's Day, you need to call at least one week in advance in order to get a table.

Getting to any of these places is only a short drive as all stores and restaurants are located in downtown Binghamton where there is an exciting nightlife, centered on the Binghamton University campus.

If you choose not to eat in any of these restaurants, you can always go to the Olive Garden restaurant or Red Lobster restaurant, which are eloquently designed and have a touch of flair in their interior design. At these two chain restaurants, you know what is on the menu and some dishes are worth trying or are people's favorites that they come back for again and again. There is no problem with parking for either of these restaurants as there are two giant parking lots situated next to each restaurant. In addition, both restaurants are easy to locate as they are right off the highway and the exists on the highway make it easy to find.

I'm familiar with the Whole in the Wall and I don't think they ever offered valet service at any time, nor do they specialize in Italian cuisine on the weekends. They do not serve alcohol either. You must've been wasted before you even got there because your info is completely erroneous.
