1. Cupid
Cupid premiers on March 24 on ABC. This spring tv show is actually a remake of the 1998 cancelled series by the same name. Cupid comes down from Mount Olympus, as punishment from the other gods and must 100 couples fall in love and live happily ever after. He meets a famous psychologist while living in New York City and they soon pair up to accomplish the task together. This spring tv show is one that moms can watch to escape the reality of motherhood for a little bit. It's a lighter television show that should be entertaining and fun with the love story worked into it every week.
2. The Goode Family
This television show, which is an animated one, will premiere in the spring on ABC. This show is about a family who thinks they are doing good by not eating meat, recycling, being green, and trying to bring peace to everybody. What comes from this family being good is nothing but humor. This is one of those shows that a mom watches to get a good laugh in. Just like some of the other controversial animated series, I have a feeling that this show is going to address some hot topics that moms may find interesting.
3. Merlin
Merlin will premiere this spring on NBC. This television show is set before the whole Merlin-King Arthur story. It follows the two men when they were younger on their adventures. Although, this may not seem like a show for mothers, the show promises to have some drama in it. Think of it more like a Gossip Girl show that is set during the Camelot days. Since most moms don't get to actually gossip and have that drama in their life anymore, this spring tv show can be another good escape and also who doesn't like watching hot young men on the television?
4. Dollhouse
This new spring tv show will air on FOX starting in February. Echo is the main character in this show and she is what is known as a "doll." She gets programmed to do certain missions and act as all different types of people and then her memory is erased. But Echo's memory starts not being erased all the way and she starts recalling little pieces of her past. What mom wouldn't wan to get away from motherhood for a little bit and just pretend that she is on a mission with Echo? If you like adventure and spy shows, then I have a feeling this show is for you.
5. Kings
Kings will premiere on March 9 on the NBC channel. A soldier, who is just a lowly farmer is put into the spotlight after his act of bravery makes him a hero to the royals. Moms will like this spring tv show because it shows that anybody can come from nothing and make something of themselves. It gives mom the encouragement to raise their children right even if they don't have a lot.
