Many of the spring drinks below are simply cooler versions of favorite winter hot drinks - for instance, chilled coffee or iced tea.
Chilled Coffees
If you like strong, hot coffee in the winter, here is a variation - one of the best spring drinks. Nothing beats a hot cup of joe to warm your hands in the winter. However, spring drinks need to be lighter. For a chilled coffee, prepare the coffee as normal. Allow it to cool. Then pop it in the fridge to enjoy it chilled. Make sure that the coffee is sufficiently cool before putting it in the fridge. This produces a spring drink with a kick.
Frapuccino
Alternatively try a Frapuccinno from Starbucks - a sweet chilled coffee. You can buy it at Starbuck in a cup. You can also find bottled Frapaccino at Starbucks or at supermarkets.
Smoothies
A list of spring drinks would not be complete without smoothies. Make your own with a smootie maker or blender. In the spring you can find many delicious fruits to include - my personal favorite is banana and blueberry.
Innocent Smoothies
If you don't have time to make your own try bottled Innocent brand Smoothies. You can find them at supermarkets and cafes.
Chai Tea
Chai tea has a refreshing and sweet taste making it a perfect choice among spring drinks. You can find Chai tea at many cafes and coffeehouses.
Herbal Tea
Herbal teas are soothing and packed with good ingredients. My favorite herbal is Green Tea which contains lots of antioxidants.
Tomato Juice
Packed full of vitamins, tomato juice is one of the healthiest spring drinks. It is a great pick me up in the middle of a day. Try V-8 or make your own.
Iced Tea
Make your own iced tea with lots of lemon for a refreshing spring drink. Here is a recipe for a citrus iced tea which is perfect for spring or summer.
Spring drinks offer a great opportunity to try some healthy beverage. There are many wholesome spring drinks to choose from. Get in to the habit of choosing healthy spring drinks and it is likely to last through winter!
