The last time we dined at this location the service was excellent. Even though it was a Friday evening and there was a long wait time, we were pleased with the exceptional service and friendly staff. From the hostess, bar tender, and our server, I give an A+ on all around service. The cook receives a A++ on the meal! I had the Chipotle Chili Rub Ribeye and my husband had the 16 oz. ribeye. The couple we dined with also chose ribeyes. Everyone commented on how delicious their steaks were. Now the way I judge a great steak is if I do not need to use a steak sauce on it. Such is the case at Black Angus Steakhouse, I never have to put a steak sauce on the ribeye because their cuts and how they are prepared are excellent all by themselves.
My husband ordered steamed spinach with alfredo sauce, topped with grated Parmesan cheese as his vegetable. I had a taste of that and wished that was what I had ordered. The waitress told us that they would be discontinuing the spinach soon because they could no longer get the alfredo sauce from their vendor. That is too bad as this was really yummy!
If you love baked potatoes with the works then you will absolutely love Black Angus' loaded baked potato. Butter, sour cream, chives, cheddar cheese and bacon bits are smothered on top of a large baked potato.
If you have room for dessert, I recommend the Big Mountain Chocolate Fudge Cake. It is such a huge mountain of chocolate goodness that two people can easily share one and be satisfied.
Cost for dinner for a couple is about $60 including drinks and the gratuity. I will mention that Black Angus does run coupons with huge savings from time to time. Also they have weekly and lunch specials.
