Lifeguard. Being a lifeguard is an awesome summer job. First of all, you get to be on the beach all day long and get paid for it. Who would turn that down? However, you do have to actually work. You have to keep your eyes and ears open for any danger that may come to any of the beach visitors, and, if the situation arises, you are required to risk your life to save someone else's. Plus, you have to take a lifeguard training class so that you know what to do in an emergency. However, this is one of the best summer jobs to have here in Daytona Beach.

Vender. Having a vending stand on the beach is a great way to make a lot of cash and, again, get to be on the beach all day long. You can sell anything, from sun visors to hot dogs. All you need is a license permitting you to do this and a vending stand, which could just be a small trailer. This is another nice little summer cash flow here in Daytona.

Car washer. Car washing is another fantastic job here in Daytona. You can make out some flyers and pass them out along the beach, and you would truly be surprised at how many people will enlist your services. Plus, this job only requires that you be willing to work hard and wash cars. You may have more offers than you can handle so you'll be making plenty of summer cash. This job is perfect for Daytona because you'll get to be outside and make loads of money too.
