The Best Tea~Ever!

Cassie Mae
My mother and I were shopping at a few unique shops in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. At Soap & Pepper I purchased Revolution Honeybrush Caramel Tea. It is a premium full-leaf red tea that is caffeine-free.

The flavor is heavenly. It makes me feel so relaxed and pampered. Even the infuser bag is pretty and satin-like looking. The box states, "The South African herb, rooibos, provides more antioxidants than green tea and gives it's blend soothing properties." I didn't pay attention to the antioxidant part, I just thought caramel tea sounded like something I needed to try. The antioxidants is an added bonus as far as I am concerned!

Looking at the ingredients Rooibos is listed first which is a good sign. Sometimes products brag it has something healthy in it and you check the ingredient list and find it towards the bottom. You know it barely has any in the product. This tea is also made with Honeybush, Safflowers, Marigold Flowers and Caramel Flavor.

The cost is a little high at sixteen bags for $7.00 at Soap & Pepper. I see from the webite: http://www.revolutiontea.com/red-tea/, I was not heavily overcharged. Plus, aren't we worth it? Imagine a hard days work. You come home agitated and frustrated. Warm up a fresh cup of caramel tea and sink into the depths of your couch. Feel the tea work its calming effects. You are so relaxed you may even doze off. It has happened to me!

I was driving on a blustery winter day and took a hot cup of caramel tea with me. It kept me warm but I started to feel sleepy driving! I would recommend savoring your tea in a cozy house.

The website offers many other flavors of tea. I did purchase Citrus Spice Herbal Tea which is also a red tea. I haven't even opened it because I cannot pass up my caramel tea! One other red tea is offered which is Huckleberry Red Herbal Tea.

Green teas, white teas, black teas, Oolong teas, herbal teas, and organic teas are also offered on the Revolution website. You can buy a mixture of sample packets, too.

All of this talk of caramel tea and its benefits has made me unable to resist warming up a clear cup of my favorite guilty pleasure. I think I will even surf the Revolution website and splurge on some other tasty flavors to indulge in.

If you have a favorite tea, please leave me a comment so I can try it!

Mental Note: Invite my five girlfriends over for a tea tasting party. Make a few light cookies to go with the tea for the ultimate experience.
