The Best Teen Clothing Stores in Washington, D.C. Metro Area

Looking for the best teen clothing stores to pick up those must-have collections? Begin your shop-hopping over at the Mecca of shopping malls, Tyson's Corner Center. This is one of my favorite places to shop the best teen clothing stores. Peruse the Tyson's Corner website ahead of time for any sales and/or coupons. All stores at this mall are open Monday thru Saturday, 10am-9:30pm and Sundays from 12pm-6pm.

So recently, I took a jaunt over to Tyson's destined to locate a few trendy items for my teenagers. With over 300 stores it's virtually a Pandora's Box and you're bound to find items you weren't even looking for.

One of the best teen clothing stores in the Washington DC Metro Area is dELIA's. They offer many casual separates including cute crew-neck shirts and tailored jeans at a reasonable price. What's most attractive about this store is their clothing items aren't seductive but just right for that weekend out with the parents look or school time. You can find fashionable wear including jeans, dresses, shoes and accessories.

Another store on my best teen clothing list is Forever 21. This store offers a variety of everything for teen girls. From flouncy skirts and tunics to dresses and jeans, you'll create an attitude with this style of clothing.

Continue on to Wet Seal. This store ranks in my top 10 for best teen clothing stores. They carry the newest styles for teen girls and you'll find a separate that can be worn for any occasion. The prices are great with many of their items below $25.99.

Aeropostale is great for teen girls and boys. They offer a casual mix of separates at great prices. In addition, they offer the polos in a variety of colors and cargo pants that can be worn for school uniforms. Prices at this store are always a bargain, most times beginning as low as $9.99

American Eagle Outfitters is another great store for both girls and boys. Their clothing is moderately priced, on average about $45.00, but well worth the cost. They offer trendy tops, bottoms and outerwear and some separates that can be worn for school uniforms. In addition to being one of the best teen clothing stores, they offer a discount card. Sign up, receive a card and enjoy more discounts in the mail and as you shop.

Tyson's Corner Center is not the only fabulous mall to shop for the best teen clothing stores. Venture over to Arundel Mills Mall to enjoy over 200 stores and clearance centers. You'll not only find some of the best teen clothing stores many styles at clearance prices. All stores at Arundel Mills Mall are open Monday thru Saturday, 10am to 9:30 and Sundays from 12pm to 7pm.

Charlotte Russe is a great store for finding trendy looks and bargain prices. This store offers plenty of everything. Purchase tunics, jeans, t-shirts, shoes and everything else in between for any occasion. Pair those up with accessories starting at $21.99, sometimes less than that.

Rave offers fashionable casual and dress styles for girls including blouses, dresses, tops, jeans and outerwear. You'll find items for all occasions at prices beginning as low as $15.99. Many times you can find items on the clearance rack for $7.99 and up. They also offer pajamas, robes and accessories. Great place to buy items as gifts since it reasonably priced, favored by most girls and items are returnable and/or exchangeable.

Old Navy is great for casual weekend and work and offers both girl and boy clothing. Jeans and shirts are reasonably priced and available in all sizes. Most clothing prices begin at $22.99 and they also offer a clearance area.

H & M, another great find! Both teen boys and girls clothing can be found here. Stylish looks can be found here in casual and dress clothing. They also offer outerwear and accessories. The colors they offer are great; always out of the ordinary to stand out.

The only downside is they do not have a website but if you're looking for the latest Enyce, Sean Jean or Phat Farm outfits, you must visit this store. Prices vary but the range is moderate to expensive.
