The Best of Times, the Worst of Times

Jean Davis
We hear of terrible things happening in the world but we need to look for the positive side.

There are so many beautiful things to dwell on.

Don't get ready to run and hide.

You are to be a light in a world of darkness.

At all times let it shine.

You may be the beacon to guide someone, maybe even throw out a lifeline.

In this, as it can seem the worst of times; it's the best of times to show our faith and trust in our Provider.

If you haven't already, it's the best of times to let Jesus in.

Don't keep Him as an " outsider".

He won't come in uninvited. He's much too polite, you see.

When you feel His gentle Spirit knock at your heart's door, open it and forever your Friend He'll be.

On the other hand if you refuse Him His heart will break, knowing the sacrifice He made just for you.

Actually, accepting Jesus and trusting Him in the worst of times is the only way for the best of times to come through.
