Last year about this time, we bought a brand new 2010 Mazda Tribute because our old car was on it's last legs. We got a great price from the dealer on it, almost three thousand dollars below the sticker price even though it came with features that were above and beyond the base model. I test drove many vehicles before deciding to buy the Mazda Tribute, and the first time behind the wheel in it, I knew instantly that it was a much better vehicle than any of the other vehicles that I had driven.
The way it drove was the deciding factor. It handles like a dream, and the seats are the most comfortable car seats that I have ever sat in, which makes it great for long road trips. The 2010 Mazda tribute has just enough space for anything you need to carry without being too big to drive in the city. It also has enough ground clearance for driving down rough roads in the country. In my opinion, this makes it the best vehicle for both city and country driving.
It has good power for having a four cylinder engine, and accelerates easily even uphill. The gas mileage isn't bad either, which is a good thing considering the high price of gas.
The options that came with it are great. It has a plug for an MP3 player, although it's only for the audio. The stereo system does not interface with the MP3 player itself, which is a slight drawback, but not one that would have kept me from buying this vehicle. The controls for the stereo system are easy to use and are better designed than in many other vehicles that I have been in.
One of the new things (for me anyway) is a tire pressure warning light. It saved me a lot of trouble not too long ago. It warned me that one of my tires was low, and I got out to look and couldn't see anything wrong with any of the tires. However, when I checked the pressure, one was nearly flat. If it had not been for the low pressure warning I might have driven a few miles from home before realizing there was a problem.
I do not regret buying the 2010 Mazda Tribute, and I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I love this vehicle! I would definitely consider buying another Mazda when we need a new vehicle in the future. The 2010 Mazda Tribute is the best vehicle that I have ever owned.
