The Best Wedding Caterers in Houston, Texas

Sally Ann Murphy
If you're getting married in Houston, Texas, there certainly isn't a shortage of wedding caterers to meet your needs. This article will provide you with a guide to the three I think are among the best.

An Enchanted Event Catering. Started in 1982, this family owned and operated Houston catering company will make your wedding an event to be remembered. With past clients that include Former Governor of Texas John Connolly, the Houston Oilers, the Consul General of Spain in Houston, and Cardinal Daniel DiNardo, you know they have a history of excellent service. Their services include creating gorgeous appetizer displays on marble, glass-blocks, or other designs. They provide maids and waiters, glass, china and flatware, linens, tables, chairs, bartenders, and even event child care! For food, I recommend their Mediterranean Chicken, Beef Tenderloin, and Fettuccini Alfredo. Menus begin at $8.50 per person, and a $600 deposit is required to book your date. One thing to keep in mind is that while Enchanted Event does provide bartenders, they do not provide alcohol and do not have a liquor license. They are located in the Memorial City District on the West side of Houston. Go to www.anenchantedevent.com for more information.

Russell Catering. Russell Catering is another great wedding caterer in Houston, Texas. They can work with you no matter what you have in mind. For dinners, their prices start at $11.44 per person. I highly recommend their Chicken Tetrazzini, as well as their Teriyaki Beef Skirt Steak and their Lime Cilantro Chicken. Their catering services include centerpieces, chair, table and bar rentals, ice sculptures, linens, bartenders, carvers, waitstaff and event coordinators. Go to www.russellcatering.com for more information.

My Catering Company. Located in Midtown Houston, My Catering Company has an excellent array of services that will help make your wedding a spectacular event. They offer decorations, tables and chairs, silverware, china, glassware and linens, as well as wait staff, bartenders, and everything else you might need. They can even provide a field kitchen! Go to http://www.mycateringcompany.com/quote.htm to fill out the form and request a quote for pricing. I recommend their Ginger & Apricot Glazed Chicken as well as their Chicken Picatta.
