The Best Weight Loss Websites

Silly Puss
There are a lot of websites on the internet right now that offer calorie counting tools to exercise planners. Some of them can be very useful to the person who needs to keep track of their calories or the person who wants some good ideas on ways to lose weight. They are more convenient then the gym and save on yourpocket books as well A lot claim that they are free and yet they will charge you for use one of their special features. I put together a list of the free ones that I have used most often that I think are the better websites. They are for both men and women.

(Live Strong) livestrong.com

This site is one you have to sign up for, it only take a moment and is free. Once in though this site has so much to offer. It has so much more than the average site does. There are free exercise workouts offered in everything from cardio to yoga. They offer information on what vitamins and minerals are best for what and why. There is a place for you to create a weight loss diary and keep track of your starting point and where you want to get to. You keep track of your calories there and can make use of a simple tool that tells you how many calories are in the foods you eat throughout your day

The site seems as much the same as all the rest what made me put it on the list is that it offers more than just the same tools you can find anywhere else on the internet for free. You do have to sign up for it, but that's simple compared to what you get in the end. Everything you can need to help you in your quest for weight loss is there. There is support, you can join in on discussions on forums or join a group and give as well as get encouragement from others. From beauty advice , recipes, challenges, stress management tips and so much more. For anyone who does not mind signing up and making there way around the busy website then this is a great place to start to get you on your track to weight loss.

(My Fitness Pal) myfitnesspal.com

I chose this site because it is simple to use. You do have to sign up if you want to join in discussion or get support from other users but it is a plain very easy to read and understand fitness website. It has the same basic tools; BMI calculator, calorie counter, food eaten counter etc.. There is nothing to special about this site other than the fact that it is simple to use and because of that and it had to make my list. One thing different that I did like was a weight loss badges to show how well you have done or weight loss tickers to show you how far you have come in your progress and where your end goal is The site gives them to put up on your other websites, face book, myspace, etc...

This is the site for you if you just want a simple easy to get to and use website.

(Web MD) webmd.com

This is my personal favorite the one that I use everyday. This site is 100% free and you do not have to sign up at all, no annoying e-mails from this site. You can sign up but you do not have to in order to get information from the site itself. The food and fitness planner lets you see and add up your calories one meal at a time, as well it counts down the calories that you have to use for the rest of the day. It also adds up all the calories burned for the day to make it easy for you to see if you are ahead or behind your own personal scheduled weight loss. The site also offers information on everything health related A-Z. Articles on how to stay young at heart and younger looking. Support groups are offered on this site as well.

This is the site for you if you are looking at not having to sign up for anything but just want knowledge on what to do and how to do it in order to lose the weight you want and get yourself on the right track.

If you are trying to lose weight and you just need that extra boost to get yourself in the right direction then one of the sites mentioned might be right for you; if not then find one that is and you will not be sorry that you did.
