The Best Wrestlemania Wrestlers of All-Time

Who Has Headlined, Wowed Crowds, and Helped Define What Wrestlemania is Today?

Wrestlemania is the biggest pay per view of the year for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and every year there are huge matches with some of the biggest and best superstars. Some superstars rise to the occasion more than other though and always display excellence when they wrestle at the huge event. Here is a look at some of the best Wrestlemania wrestlers ever.

The Undertaker: Not many wrestlers are undefeated at Wrestlemania, and out of those superstars, they do not even compare to the Undertaker's streak. The Undertaker has been successful at every single Wrestlemania appearance he has made and has made history while doing it. Some of the competitors that he has beat include King Kong Bundy, Triple H, Ric Flair, Kane, and Batista. It is now pretty much expected that the Undertaker will be victorious but he still manages to impress crowds and keep them on their feet for his matches.

Hulk Hogan: Some people have referred to this wrestling legend as Mr. Wrestlemania. Hulk Hogan helped propel Wrestlemania to what it is today and that is by headlining ten Wrestlemanias and doing appearances at many others. No one can forget him body slamming Andre the Giant, going one on one with the Rock, or his legendary bout with the Ultimate Warrior. Hogan rarely lost at Wrestlemania, but even when he did the fans still cheered for him like crazy and that is why he is one of the best.

Stone Cold Steve Austin: Because of Stone Cold Steve Austin's impressive Royal Rumble record, he has made it to Wrestlemania several times. His first great Wrestlemania match was against Bret "The Hitman" Hart in a submission match. This match actually turned him into a good guy and the next year he main evented and won his first World Championship. He has also had three classic matches with the Rock at Wrestlemania, winning two out of the three and cementing his spot as one of the WWE's greatest performers.

Shawn Michaels: Shawn Michaels is part of one of the greatest Wrestlemania matches ever. At Wrestlemania 12, Michaels went one on one with Bret Hart in a sixty minute iron man match. Crowds were wowed at the spectacular display put on by both wrestlers and were going nuts when Shawn Michaels finally got the victory in Sudden Death. He has also had memorable bouts against Stone Cold Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle, and a triple threat with Triple H and Chris Beniot at Wrestlemania XX.

John Cena: Cena may have defied the odds more than any other superstar in the WWE. It is rare that the champion retains his title during a Wrestlemania match, but John Cena did this two years in a row, once against Triple H and once against Shawn Michaels. Not only did he do that, but he did it by making both men tap out to his submission move, the STFU. Cena also displayed incredible power by delivering his FU finisher to the Big Show twice and defeating him at Wrestlemania XX for the US title. He is a great performer and always steps it up when he is in a Wrestlemania match.

As the Wrestlemania tradition continues superstars will step out and continue to impress audiences and become some of the best Wrestlemania wrestlers of all time.
