The Best New Year's Eve Parties in Chicago

Finding a sitter for New Year's Eve may be too much of a challenge for you this year, so why not take the family to the Brookfield Zoo party. It begins at 6 p.m. with a New Year's Eve count down with balloons at 8 p.m. This two-hour event will feature entertainment from the Radio Disney Road Crew and Those Funny Little People. Best of all is that you can still get the kids into bed and have a special New Year's Eve toast with your loved one at midnight.
New Year's Eve 2010 at Navy Pier's Crystal Gardens starts at 9 p.m. does not end until 2 a.m. This televised event is very popular and tickets sell out very fast. Ticket prices include entertainment by DJ Jordan V, fireworks at midnight, party favors, a champagne toast, and a buffet.
The Hotels
Each year a number of Chicago's finest hotels offer some of the best party venues. NYE 2010 Official Playboy New Year's Eve Celebration will be the player party of the year. Playboy will be bringing back its fabled Playboy club for this one night event. A number of Playboy bunnies will be attending and some Chicago's top DJ's will be providing the entertainment. The party will also offer live casino gambling and a Playboy VIP Lounge. With 4000 guests, and an open bar it should become the most talked about party of the year.
The W City Center Chicago Hotel is offering an evening of drinks, dinning, and dancing inside their three newly renovated ballrooms, the Miami Room, Vegas Room, and Chicago Room. Another popular party is at the Hyatt Regency with JACK-FM. Televised yearly, they host a celebration that includes an open bar, buffet, and two party areas. This year's entertainment is from the band 7th Heaven and a DJ.
